Kevin from quality controls hvac just left my house. He came to check my 1st floor heater that would not come on. He diagnosed the problem went and got parts and fixed furnace. He communicated with my house warranty people and got them to cover most of the costs. He is a very nice polite man. He explained all work to me. He is very professional and did an excellant job at a good price. I highly recommend them. I give him a 5 star.

We just bought a 7 Year Old Home that had and existing Gas fire place that has never been used. One of the comments on the home inspection was to have this serviced and checked for Carbon Monoxide. I came across a flier for this company and from the moment i called i had a comfortable feeling that they would be able to come take a look at what i needed and they were able to check everything out. Kevin cleaned the dust off all the logs, made sure gas lines were installed correctly and not leaking and re stacked logs the way they should be and performed a carbon monoxide test. Most importantly the wife is very happy. I would definitely refer this company and use them in the future for my heating and cooling needs.

I contracted with Quality Controls Heating and Air in regard to a malfunctioning thermostat. Kevin was prompt, consultative and diagnosed the issue immediately (of which was not the thermostat) He was able to fix the issue in under an hour and the fees were very reasonable based upon a previous quote I received from another company. For future heating and air issues I will definitely contact Quality Controls Heating and Air.

I scheduled an appointment with Kevin, who is the owner of Quality Controls Heating and AC, for Wednesday, 1/17/18. Unfortunately we had a snow storm hit the area that day so Kevin called to postpone the appointment until the next day. I appreciated the call as most professionals do not notify you (unfortunately) if they are unable to be on time or make an appointment. Kevin also called me about 1/2 hour before the appointment time letting me know he would be on time for my Thursday appointment which was scheduled for 12 noon. Once Kevin arrived, he immediately diagnosed the problem I was having, showed me what the solution and had the fireplace working within 1/2 hour. I have a remote control unit for my fireplace which was not working, so I was also interested in having that fixed. Kevin offered me two solutions: he could buy the new remote control and replace it for me ($189) or I could buy it and replace it myself ($107). Kevin gave me the model of the remote and the link on Amazon to order it. Kevin recommended a fireplace cleaning ($129) which I agreed to, as it had not been cleaned in some 20 years. Kevin's initial $59 appointment fee was included in the $129. My fireplace is running again and I am very satisfied with his work. He was very courteous but professional in his assessment of my fireplace problems and went over various solutions to address them. I would gladly rehire Kevin again if I have any other fireplace problems.
Re: Quality Controls Heating & Air Conditioning I was a certified tradesman for some 45 years so I recognize good quality work when I see it. I can honestly say this was without question the best heating and air service in every way that I have witnessed in a long, long time. I knew right away that Kevin cared about what he was doing. He was polite, friendly, honest, experienced, knowledgeable, professional, clean, tidy and generally went out of his way to ensure a great experience. The pricing structure was very fair. I felt that I learned a lot because Kevin took the time to explain what he was doing and why. Im happy to know that I have found myself a professional Heating and A/C sevice for my future needs. I intend to spread the word around to anyone I know that needs a pro to take care of their Heating and A/C. Thank you Kevin.
Kevin did a very thorough and expert based assessment of our furnace. We couldn’t have been more impressed by his level of knowledge and the ability to explain exactly what caused our situation. Prompt and courteous. Had our gas logs fixed in a jif. They are clean and run better than they ever had. Great prices. Very honest and Kevin answered all of our questions, even gave us some great tips and pointers for caring for our logs. Can tell he takes pride in his work. Quality Controls did an excellent job for me. They came on time with only a one day appointment. They fixed my gas fireplace at, what I consider a very fair price. The tech also explained to me what he did, what the features of the fire place are and where to get replacement parts. I was very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone for gas fire place repair.
